Michael Cohen is referring to President Donald Trump as a racist, a con man, and a cheat during his opening statement before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, February 27.
The billionaire’s former attorney stated, “I am ashamed that I chose to take part in concealing Mr. Trump’s illicit acts rather than listening to my own conscience. I am ashamed because I know what Mr. Trump is.”
Cohen adds, “He is a racist. He is a conman. He is a cheat.”
Cohen also revealed that President Trump knew his longtime political advisor Roger Stone was in contact with Wikileaks during the 2016 campaign about possible dirt on Hillary Clinton.
“He was a presidential candidate who knew Roger Stone was talking with Julian Assange about Wikileaks drop on Democratic National Committee emails,” Cohen said, adding, “I’m providing several documents, and these include a copy of a cheque Mr. Trump wrote from his personal bank account after he became president to reimburse me for the hush-money payments I made to cover up his affair with a [porn] star and to prevent damage to his campaign.”
