Ancelotti says Cristiano Ronaldo’s only mistake was going to Juventus

Ancelotti has stated what he believes is the “only mistake” Cristiano Ronaldo made when leaving Spain.

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti feels the former Real Madrid forward’s move to Italy will be beneficial to Italian football, but also added that the 33-year-old chose to join the the wrong club!

“I don’t think there was the will to adopt a totally Italian culture,” he said, according to Besoccer, adding, “Above all, the desire was to bring a high-level culture: professionalism and quality. The arrival of Cristiano is excellent for the image of Serie A.

He’s an immense professional, his only mistake was going to Juve.”
